Cycle around Asakusa and Akihabara
We cycle around four Tokyo’s major tourist destinations.( Akihabara, Kappabashi, Asakusa, Kuramae ). Akihabara is the center of otaku culture, japanese pop culture like anime, and sells many anime and manga goods. Not only otaku goods but also home appliances are famous at Akihabara. Many kinds of electric appliances, from old ones to the latest ones, are sold at large and small electric appliance stores. Kappabashi is an interesting town selling various cookware. The high-quality cooking utensils that are indispensable for making delicious Japanese food are sold. What’s even more unique is that they sell fake food. The fake food is a sample of food and drink displayed outside the store at the restaurant. The people who saw these are certainly amazed. Asakusa is a very popular town that retains the atmosphere of “sitamachi”. Sensoji Temple is particularly famous, and it is a very old temple built in the 7th century. You can see a magnificent historical building. Nakamise Road is near the Sensoji Temple. You can buy various foods, souvenirs and unique products here. Kuramae, which is close to Asakusa, is known as a manufacturing town. Young craftsmen create modern crafts while retaining the atmosphere of the downtown area. It is a town where you can experience Japanese manufacturing that is not easily found in guidebooks.
